The #EndSARS protest has taken its toll once again as angry hoodlums invaded the headquarters of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), chasing out the workers and setting the facilities on fire.
The building was reportedly razed as the NPA fire fighters run for their dear lives and therefore unable to arrest the inferno.
A staff of the authority confirmed that the hoodlums also attacked the NPA facility located at the Dockyard, Apapa, and carted away valuable items before setting it ablaze.
All vehicles in the premises were also set on fire by some unidentified hoodlums.
Staff members in Apapa area were seen scampering for safety as they took cover at the seaside as the hoodlums vowed to kill anyone found in the premises.
It was gathered that the attack on the NPA may not be unconnected with the shooting of unarmed protesters at the Lekki Tollgate on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
